Originally from coastal North Carolina, I spent most of my life living around Greensboro and Charlotte, NC.  I graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2009 after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's in counseling.  It may seem like an odd pairing of degrees but I consider myself in the business of people.  I worked in education for 5 years before moving to Southern California with my husband of 10 years, Van.  Pregnant with our first child, we sold our home, bought an RV, and drove across the country with our dog and cat. After 5 years in Orange County, CA, and welcoming our two children, Wyatt (7) and Nora (4), we were ready to get back to the east coast! During the pandemic in 2020 we moved across country in an RV again, but this time with two children instead of two pets!

After all the adventures, we finally settled here in Merritt Island. We absolutely love living at the Space Coast! When we aren't busy with school and work, we enjoy boating, swimming, bike rides to Kelly Park and trips to the beach. We feel lucky to call Brevard County home!
